Gombitelli salamis are another typical product of this area. Gombitelli can be reached from the B&B Sunrise by taking the Sarzanese road, turning in the direction of Pieve a Elici.
Going over the mountain in Panicale, turn right towards Freddana and immediately on your left take a road towards Gombitelli. The road is uphill, small and uncomfortable. When you reach the village, a breathtaking panoramic view awaits you.
Here the air is fresh, clean, without smog.
Find the sausage factories that produce Gombitelli ham and not only other salamis, such as lard, mortadella, salami. You can buy these products at Salumificio Triglia or at Salumificio Cerù.
Then if you want to stop and eat, snoozing a typical menu with local salami of Gombitelli, tordelli, wild boar, sliced beef and … enjoying a panoramic view from the terrace stop at the Ristorante da Cerù. Great price!
