The legendary Montramito lake is truly amazing because it starts <\/p>\n\n\n\n
in the distant Middle Ages<\/p>\n\n\n\n
where the story begins from a convent of begging friars <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The convent was old decadent and the friars went there daily<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to beg for food and water<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whoever supported the friars in their need as long as….<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Need for wealth on the part of the friars the need to have food wine<\/p>\n\n\n\n
riches increased more and more <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the evening after collecting the loot and riches between laughter<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and a sinful longing they went to sleep happy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the cold winter night suddenly the beds began to shaking the ground<\/p>\n\n\n\n
under the convent began to shake as long as a strong shock woke the friars<\/p>\n\n\n\n
a roar and then….<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next morning silence surprise and a small lake. Incredibly anyone passing<\/p>\n\n\n\n
by could see that the covent was gone<\/p>\n\n\n\n

friars of the convent but only a seraphic lake<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The source of this lake was used by the Ubaldi family who had <\/p>\n\n\n\n
placed the castle in the Gulfa location near the lake<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also known as Prunuccio the source comes from Monte Meto<\/p>\n\n\n\n
