4 Postcards lakes Garfagnana that I am going to list are not the ussual advertised more famous ones like Vagli Lake or Isola santa
I would like to suggest something new unknown to appreciate our territory even in the part of the greenest tuscany in our region
The green heart of Tuscany holds these 4 lakes :
Lake of Gramolazzo is located at the foot of the Apuan Alps in the municipality of Minucciano. The most scenic is excellent for picnincs canoeing and splendid photo shots
Located in the municipality of San Romano in Garfagnana. Surrounded by a lush pine forest – Great for picnics, photo shoots, short walks in the woods.
Lake of Turritecava is the leasr known. it is located in Garfagnana in the Media Valle del Serchio. It is an artifical basin. Surrounded by rocky lush vegetation. Its charm is that of being off the beaten track
Lake of Vicaglia can be reached by passing through Sillano towards parco dell Orecchiella. The highest lake feeds the hydroelectric plant of Sillano
