I give you Tip about the visit of the Botanical Gardens in Lucca in the historic centre of the city, built by Maria Luisa di Borbone in 1820.
It is divided into two areas:
In the first area you will find the alboreto, the ound and the small lake.
The second area is located the school and botanical greenhouse. Indoor there is the Botanical Museum “Cesare Bianchi” where are preserved historical herbaria and other interesting documents.
The offices and the learning – laboratory are, however, in the Casermetta, located on the city wall.
