Come to Tuscany at B&B Sunrise which is located in Quiesa in the Municipality of Massarosa, 5 minutes from Massaciuccoli where the Puccini cycle path starts.
The route can start either from Via Cenami from the Piazza di Massaciuccoli in front of the Terme di Massaciuccoli or from Via delle Redole, a road that is just before on the left to go to the port and the Lipu oasis in Massaciuccoli.
The route winds along a straight road, at the beginning, and then unfolds on wooden jetties, curves, with the background the Balbano hill and the panoramic view over the whole territory that crosses the marsh to arrive after about 20 km of path to St. Peter’s Bridge in Lucca.
You can stop to rent a bike in Massaciuccoli where there is a small rental point called Bicilagobici where for 1 h 3 eu, 2 h 5 eu, day 10 eu. run by three very young boys, rent the bike, with the dog trailer, the tandem or the bike for the little ones. They organize guided bike tours passing through Nozzano Castello with routes also of taste.
